World of Warcraft’s patch 4.2 brings some exciting new gear to dungeon crawlers all over Azeroth.  Blizzard decided to give us Item Level 378 (391 Heroic) Gear for faction levels up to Revered with some nice 391 Rings to grace your fingers when you reach Exalted with the Avenger’s of Hyjal faction.  This faction can be earned by killing monsters in the Firelands.  To reach the Firelands, just head to the south part of Mount Hyjal to the Sulfuron Spire.  You can find the Quartermaster, Naresir Stormfury just outside of the instance entrance next to the summoning stone.   The gear rewards start out at friendly with a nice cloak.  You do not have to do the unlock quests in Mount Hyjal in order to gain faction reputation from the Avenger’s of Hyjal.  Just show up in a 10 or 25 man Raid, enter the dungeon, and begin to slay in order to garner reputation.
