The cataclysm has changed many things around Azeroth.  Many people logged in, only to find the Town Portals in Dalaran gone.  Was this a Bug?  Would they be back?  The answer to that one is quite simply: No.  Don’t worry too much about it though.  Now that you can fly in the classic zones, the town portals in Dalaran aren’t quite as necessary.   Also, in order to assist us while we schlep through the massive World of Warcraft, Blizzard conveniently placed Portals from  the Faction Capitol cities to each of the new zones.  For Horde, These portals are all located on the Upper Level of Ogrimmar in the Northern part of the Valley of Wisdom.  For Alliance players, the portals are located in Stormwind just North of the Dwarven District and Stormwind Keep.  You must Unlock each of these portals through a series of quests which become available to you as you progress in levels.   All of these quests start at your factions Command/Call Board. These quests will be available to you from the Warchief’s Command Board (H) or Hero’s Call Board (A) once you reach the  level listed below.  Once you are of the appropriate level, just head over to your local Command/Call Board, and pickup the quest for the zone you want to enter.  This will unlock the portal to the new Cataclysm zone from your factions Capitol City.  The best part about this deal is that these portals are TWO WAY!  Yep, not only can you travel from your Capitol City to  a plethora of new areas, but you can even come back when you want to.  Good Game on this new portal setup Blizzard!!!  Good Game indeed!
